The Harper’s Bazaar Anticounterfeiting Alliance is dedicated to creating awareness of the illegal activities directly tied to fake products. Our mission is to deter shoppers from purchasing counterfeit products by educating them on the egregious criminal activities funded by these sales, including child labor, terrorism and drug cartels.

The Alliance is an important next step in Harper’s Bazaar’s ongoing anticounterfeiting initiatives, which began in 2005. Together with an advisory board including executives from the luxury sector, international property lawyers and law enforcement and government officials, the Harper’s Bazaar Anticounterfeiting Alliance aims to support actions that will enforce anticounterfeiting laws and ultimately prevent intellectual property infringement.
